Ski resorts in Turkey
The highest resorts by top elevation
If you must predict snow reliability from one number, make it the base elevation.
Short answer
By top elevation the highest Turkish ski resort is Erciyes at 3,346 m, followed by Palandöken at 3,140 m. For snow reliability, though, the base matters more: Konaklı's 2,327 m base keeps its entire ski area higher than any other.

What this ranking tells you
Top elevation is an impressive number but it can mislead: most of your day is spent in the middle and lower sections, not at the summit. To judge how well a resort holds snow, read the base — that is where the cover goes first.
The distinction is unusually sharp in Turkey. Konaklı's base sits at 2,327 m — above even the base of Erciyes — while Kartepe's is at 1,300 m. That 1,000 m gap translates into weeks of difference in season length.
Elevation also decides snow type. Above 2,000 m in Eastern Anatolia the snow is dry and light; at 1,300–1,800 m in Marmara it is damp and heavy. The same kit and the same technique behave differently in the two.

Reading the numbers
You will see different figures elsewhere. Usually the reason is method, not error.
Why lift counts here are lower than official figures
This catalogue counts only named mechanical lines; magic carpets in learning areas are excluded. Erciyes's official source states 19 installations while this catalogue says 14 — the difference is five carpets. That is a definitional gap, not a contradiction, but mixing the two figures in one table produces a false comparison.
How slope length is measured
Length is the one-way total across all runs. Turkish sources frequently publish figures around double this, usually because runs were counted in both directions or an early error propagated. When you see a near-doubling, question the method first.
